This morning, I was recounting what I thought of last night's debate to a woman who became frustrated that I wasn't saying anything about Paul Ryan's performance. Enough about Biden, she kept asking; how did Ryan do? But you couldn't say enough about Biden. The debate was all about Biden. So here's the deal. If ... Read more

Nowthe Obama administration insists that the crude anti-Islamic YouTube trailer had nothing to do with the attack on our embassy in Benghazi. Um, OK. But when the president spoke to the United Nations last month, he once again took occasion to condemn the video and insist that “[t]he future must not belong to those who ... Read more

Look,it's not complicated. America's had a lousy four years, but they still weren't willing to abandon Obama until they were comfortable with the other guy. Looking at all the opinion pieces from the weekend until now, it's clear I didn't miss ... Read more

Obama trounced McCain among independents last time out. Now independents are solidly behind Mitt, but Obama's still going to glide to victory because scads ... Read more

Afriend on Facebook cited the president's commanding lead on Intrade today - 72 to Romney's 27 - in an attempt to shake my faith in Romney's chances. (This isn't the main point of this post, but I do find it remarkable how many Obamaites are genuinely perturbed by my confidence that a Romney victory is ... Read more

Inmy online travels, I came across the following Facebook update from a woman who's no fans of the Mormons:

I'm sick of hearing Christians saying they are voting for Romney because he believes in God. Seriously guys, do you even know what Mormonism is? I suggest you look into it because he does not believe

Thisblog got a pingback yesterday - i.e., another blog quoted me and linked back here. I was flattered - until I read what he had to say. Linking to my controversial post "The Coming Romney Landslide," a site called rightwingnuthouse.com quoted me at length and concluded with his own commentary: "Um…no, that’s ridiculous." Today, I ...
