Personally, I think the fact you can get a good drinking game going on how many times the Bushies said "Saddam" and "9-11" so closely tells us the clear intent.

Same probably goes for this thing of yours...

Then fine, you get your own drinking game going.

In the last three months, I've discovered BEER (they wouldn't stop buying me Coronas my last night in Europe).

Favorite domestic brand? Schiner Boch

Favorite foreign? Tie between Corona and Newcastle Brown Ale

Any of those would do ya good.

Never had Schiner Boch, but Corona and Newcastle are about as far away on the scale from each other as you can get. Yet, I like them both as well.

I agree. Corona is a commercial, but well programmed Classic Rock station. Newcastle Brown Ale is BBC World Service.

Both GREAT listening, but utterly different in character and "artistry".

If you could hear beer, that is what they would sound like.

Corona is crap...

Do any of you know why limes are used on Mexican beer? The real reason...way before it was trendy...the reason why Mexicans do it.

Enlighten us, please.

Me, I like the taste. But I'll drink a Corona w/o.

Nice analogy. I agree.

They serve Corona at this really decent Mexican Restaurant (for Ohio) only 3/4 mile from my house. It's a pilsner on the same level as my daily standard, MGD. Goes down light and smooth with no bad aftertaste, moderately priced, and if you pace yourself you'll maintain your buzz without getting too wasted. Also, they are processed with quality ingredients so as you won't wake up the next morning with a hangover.
I don't think that non or inexperienced drinkers realize this, but the more you are willing to pay for quality hooch your chances of getting a hangover decreases to practically nil.

Depends on your tastes Neuro.
I think it's a smooth pleasant tasting Pilsner that goes great with dinner.

Which would definitely 'splain my lack of said hangover the next day.

I'll tell you one thing I discovered, my friend. I discovered wine shortly after I got to Europe. Beer shortly before I left. And as much as I love wine (and I do), when you get through with a long hard day, and you crack open a cold one...that first swallow that hits your tongue....dude...it's nigh orgasmic in it's pleasure level.

Had no idea it was that good.

Again, love wine, LOVE IT, but you can't get that effect with wine.

Back in the day (maybe even to this day) the cleanliness of cans in Mexico was poor, so they used the lime to sterilize the can when there wasn't anywhere to wash it, such as when they were partying at the beach or the park, it also happens to keep the flys off too, and improves the horrid taste 'cause Mexican Beer was/is always skunked. After a while it caught on and now it's trendy...so trendy that now Miller and Coors are selling beer with lime added into it.

Especially on a hot summer day after getting off from work.
Can't beat it!
