The season finale featured a major win by the visitors, in a bid to win renewal through a cliffhanger.

The big reveal was that the visitors need to sex up the teen boys because they wanted human DNA to help preserve the species.

Two seasons to get to a story already worn out by alien conspiracy theorists during the 70's.

Good riddance.
