Went to see a preview of Thor in 3D with my nephew.

It's very good, for my money as good as the first iron Man.

Chris Hemsworth plays Thor's arc, from arrogant brat to champion of the weak and oppressed really well and the rest of the cast back him up admirably.

This the first Marvel film that really looks like it cost the money to make it and director Kenneth Brannagh makes the most of it and delivers a blockbuster that you'd never think he had in him.

I wish we'd seen more of the Warriors Three and Sif and I missed Balder the Brave.

Of the cameos, JMS gets more screen time than Stan Lee and it was nice to see Sal Buscema get a mention in the list of notable Thor artists at the end.

The post credits sequence is the weakest of those in the Marvel movies so far, but it was nice to see the caption station that Thor would return in The Avengers.

4/5 (Would have been an extra .5 but the 3D was kind of irrelevant!)

I wasn't sure if this one was going to be able to be good.

Might see it this weekend now.

I thought you were indicating that 3-D movies are great.

Thor knows nothing about cars. In Asgard they ride horses.

I liked the film, even the Asgard parts (and I hate Asgard in the Thor comic). I'm looking forward to seeing how they work Thor into the Avengers film.
